SE Combination Constitution 2009/2010

Published by Gillingham Ladies Media on July 19, 2009

southeastcombinationlogoThe 2009-10 Constitution has been released for the South East Combination League. Despite The FA restructuring the leagues the SEC has been untouched.

So Congratulations to Luton Town who won the league, they will now head up to the Premiership, however there route is not quite clear as they may find themselves in the Northern Section facing frequent long journeys. There position will be taken by Ipswich Town who despite earning promotion to the Southern Prem last season found it a tough league to stay in, and come down after only one season.

With WhiteHawk and Bedford Town pulling out midway through the season, this left no teams being relegated. They will be placed by Dagenham & Redbridge & Ebbsfleet United. To which we is great news as its two away journeys where we wont have to head onto the M25.

The other significant change is that Cambridge City have merged with Cambridge Utd, forming one team to which will be appropiatly named Cambridge Women.

So to clarify the full Constitution :-

  • Cambridge Women (Cambridgeshire FA)
  • Dagenham & Redbridge (Essex FA)
  • Ebbsfleet United (Kent FA)
  • Enfield Town (Middlesex FA)
  • Gillingham (Kent FA)
  • Ipswich Town (Suffolk FA)
  • Lewes (Sussex FA)
  • Northampton Town (Northampshire FA)
  • Norwich City (Norfolk FA)
  • Tottenham Hotspur (London FA)
  • MK Dons – was Wellingborough Diamonds (Northamptonshire FA)
  • Welwyn Garden City (Hertfordshire FA)
