keyboardGillingham Ladies FC’s preparations for the new season continue with the launch of their brand new official club website.

Available from today, the official website of Gillingham Ladies Football Club is the best way to keep up to date with all the news and reports from Gillingham Ladies FC.

The website, built and managed by ClubFans, features the latest news and views from the Gills Ladies camp.

As part of the new site, Gillingham Ladies have also launched on the popular social network Twitter, meaning fans can stay up to date with Gillingham Ladies FC news wherever they are.

Commenting on the launch of the new website, the club’s Director of Football, Martin Andrews, said: “Gillingham Ladies FC strives to be professional on and off the pitch and part of our strategy is to have a fresh professional looking website, which we can fully integrate with.

“We fully believe in promoting our ladies just as the Gills men do, and partnering with ClubFans gives us that opportunity. We intend to have exclusive photos, interviews and previews and for the site to become more interactive.

“This website has opened a lot more doors for us and we really look forward to everyone visiting it every day for new fresh articles.”

Owner of ClubFans, Simon Head, said he hoped the launch of the new site would help increase the coverage the team receives.

“When I was approached by Gillingham Ladies FC to build them a new official club site, I was delighted to help.

“My hope is that the new site will provide a professional, easy-to-use platform from which Gillingham Ladies FC can communicate with their fans and the football community.

“Women’s football in this country is a rapidly growing sport and Gillingham Ladies are making great strides in their development.

“We’ve seen England Ladies playing internationals at Priestfield Stadium in the past, and it would be fantastic to see Gillingham Ladies players wearing the famous Three Lions one day in the future. If the club continues its development there’s no reason why that can’t happen.

“Hopefully Gillingham fans will add www.gillinghamladies.co.uk to their bookmarks and follow both Gillingham teams in 2009/2010 and beyond.”
