Luton Pre-Season Match, One Win & One defeat

Gillingham’s pre-season preperations carried on this Sunday as they made the trip up to Newly promoted Luton Town. This was a good test for the Gills as Luton are preparing for the first time to take on the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle United.
Both teams met last season as Luton won the South East Combination League by two points. Last season Luton won both the games a convincing 5-0 win at Stockwood Park Athletics ground, and they virtually clinched the league title when they beat the Gills 2-0 towards the end of last season at Woodstock Park.
