PreSeason Result:- Gillingham 3-0 Anchorians

Gillingham Ladies Reserve side finalised there pre-season preperations with there first game at there new home and carried on there fine unbeaten form. Sean Edwards team are now ready for the start of the new season when they face Ashford away on Sunday.
The reserves are a mixture of youth and experience, with the emphasis on the experience, captained by Kim Bolden, they are also heavily guided out on the pitch by Teri Reynolds & Kirsty Goodall, sadly Leanne Stevens is out with an injury which led to her to miss the game, however she was still heavily involved given her words of wisdom to the youngsters.
Lyall Jamieson has also come onboard as coach with Sean and they are working well together getting the girls fully focused.
The game itself was in the first half heavily dominated by Gills, as goals from Charlotte Abbott, Chloe Jamieson and Lauren Harris made it 3-0 and was in a way job done.
However second half Anchorians asked questions of the Gills, with Jess Nunn producing a couple of saves and some poor finishing from Anchorians which could of really pulled them right back into the game, as Gills failed to build on there first half advantage.
However a good final game before there season starts.
