The first team makes there first competitive fixture against Ebbsfleet United and the Reserves play title favourites Milton & Fulston.

This is a guide to both the teams….

EBBSFLEET UNITED v GILLINGHAM

2pm Stonebridge Road

TEAM NEWS

Ian Varley has another selection headache, with all first teamers reporting fit a raring to go. The focus will be on the front two of Natalie Crinean and Ashlee Hincks (Pictured above) who between them have hit over 30 goals in 5 games.

With competition all over the place, what ever team Ian selects will be an attacking team.

FORM

With Gillingham finding themselves at the top end of the table, Fleet find themselves at the wrong end. However with respect to Fleet they been given the cruelest start possible, and to be fair questions have to be asked how they have been given 5 away games out of 6. With back to back games away to Ipswich & Norwich. For womens football and the demands of players that is totally unacceptable.

Fleet though have seen there opening day victory against W.G.C chalked off the board and there only point is an impressive draw away to Spurs.ebbsfleet-united

Gills go into the game full of confidence after bouncing back from the 2-1 defeat against Lewes, by beating Ipswich Town 5-1.

The Gills though prefer to play away, as the surfaces are better and with them playing at the Fleets ground an immaculate surface is expected to which will allow the creative players to perform.
