Sundays Results:- First team win away whilst Reserves draw away

Mixed results for the Gills Ladies today, the 1st team travelled down to Lewes whilst the reserves travelled to Maidstone (Ditton) to play Castle Colts.
The first team who’s only defeat this season is to Lewes, got the upper hand of the promotion rivals. The game was effectivly over at half time, as Lewes showed the inconsitency tat has caused them dear this season.
First half goals from Ashlee Hincks and Natalie Crinean gave Gills a 2-0 lead. With further goals from Dan Farmer (Penalty) & Ash gave them a 4-0 lead.
Straight after the 4th, with Gills down to 10 players with Kelly Herrett having a bloody wound bound up, Lewes hit back, and they added a 2nd near the end of the game.
The reserves dropped there first points of the season to Castle Colts, Castle Colts scored in the first half, and despite a lot of chances only Chloe Jamieson strike saved there blushes to make it 1-1.
