Reserve Game Off !

Waterlogged#3A 9am pitch inspection ended any hopes of the league cup game.

The pitch still clearly not recovered from last weeks torrential storms, and the rain last night added to the problems.

 

The pitch itself has patches all over the area of water, but the big concern is the penalty area’s, which you could barely stand in.

Concerns now switch to next week’s home game against Castle Colts, if the rain persists this week that game could also be in trouble.

The recent cancellation of games has frustrated the Gills Reserves as they are

keen to get back out on the pitch as they recently found top form with superb wins over both Crockenhill & Long Lane.

The first teams FA Cup Round 2 tie is subject to a 11am pitch inspection at Enfield Town.

Finally at least someone got enjoyment out of the rain on the pitch !!!
