More Poor weather creates fixture Chaos

With both of todays games being washed out due to the heavy down pour over night, it adds more problems to the ever growing fixture list.
With the Kent Cup tie against Ashford being off, this will now be played next week meaning the home Kent derby against Ebbsfleet United being cancelled next week. With the leagues last game to be played no later than May 16th, and with the Gills active in the Kent Cup & League Cup this has become a major concern.
However one of the biggest concerns is the state of the pitches, the poor weather has already put majority of them in poor condition, however the conern now is over use of the pitches.
With Lordswood pitch the saving grace is the first team have just Ebbsfleet & Norwich left to play at home, however that pitch is also used by there 1st team and Reserves, so it will be used every Saturday and most Tuesday nights as they also have to catch up.
However the also have quite a few cup finals being held there, which is a major source of revenue for them. In March on 7th, 14th & 21st they have 2 cup finals on the Sunday with a 11am Kick Off and 2pm Kick Off, and in April on Thursday nights they have Rochester & District Cup finals.
The league have all ready put in emergency plans and have asked teams to find another pitch, even if it does not meet the ground criteria, our clash against Ebbsfleet is also set to be a midweek clash aswell.
With the reserves they suffer a similar problem, with there clash off against Milton & Fulston today, there pitch is in an even worse condition after the recent game against Castle Colts really doing damage, they have 3 games left, and they are away for most of March, so it is hoping there pitch will recover.
