Danni Farmer “We are really proud of what we have done so far”

Danni Farmer has been in imperious form for Gills Ladies and she continued that against Dartford on Sunday afternoon.
The attacking midfielder made it six goals in her last three games and she scored a well taken hat trick to cap it all off.
Talking about the three goals that she scored against Dartford with CHRIS DICKETTS , she said: “Yes I am really happy with the goals and really pleased that we are in another final.”
From the pictures taken during the game, it was clear when Farms stepped up to take the penalty she gave the keeper no chance.
Yet the midfielder revealed it wasn’t as easy as she made it look, she added: “I really had to keep my head for the Pen.
“The other team were giving me stick because they thought I had dived to
win it, but was really pleased that it went in.”
Farms is also delighted to be back amongst the goals after a period out injured and she is finally hitting top form again.
She said: “It’s good to get back in and scoring again. I am not a very good ‘watcher’ so being injured was killing me and to come back scoring is nice. The main thing is that we continue winning and if I get on the score sheet then that’s a bonus.
“I had the injury and just before that it was Christmas so it felt like a very long time not playing football. I wasn’t happy with my first couple of performances but I am generally never happy.”
The Gills have now made two cup finals in a week after having a barren spell of eight years without reaching one.
Danni is proud of what the club has achieved this season and continue to achieve as the season goes on.
She added: “We are all really proud of what we have done so far, but there is no point getting there if we don’t win. We can’t wait for the big games now and fingers crossed we can finish the season as treble winners.
“Any final will be tough but we are a confident bunch at the moment and if we play the way we can we will cause anyone problems.”
The Gills are back in League action on Thursday evening as they take on Ebbsfleet under the flood lights and Farms is happy to be back playing in the League again.
She said: “It seems like ages since we played a league game. Obviously promotion is our main focus so will be good to get back to that and hopefully pick up another 3 points.
“They are well organised and they showed that in the first half of the last time we met. Obviously the pressure will be on us but we have to be confident and play the way we have done all season.
“I love playing night games so I am really looking forward to it. A few of the other girls have said how they love a night game so I reckon we will be flying.”
