Perry Previews Charlton

Aaron Perry’s side face arguably their toughest test this pre-season as they head to rivals Charlton Reserves on Sunday.
Charlton play in the Reserve League about the Gills and this is where Aaron wants his side to be playing their football next season.
Talking about the game, he said: “It is the biggest test and out of all the pre-season games it is probably going to be the toughest.
“It is a game that we are looking forward to and there is a bit of history between the girls and obviously it is a derby, so it is definitely a game that they want to win.
“It is a game that I definitely intend to win, and I am looking forward and I do expect to win the game. I expect everyone to be committed and we will be prepared as best as we can be, and I expect to get a result.”
The game will give the manager a chance to see just where his side has come from and where it is working towards.
He added: “It is going to be a test and it is going to give me a clear indication of what we are going to be up against during the season.
“Obviously they are in the League above us but that is where I intend to be next year so we have to come up against these teams now early doors.
“I am looking forward to it and I am fully aware that it is going to be a completely different kettle of fish to what it was last Sunday against Basildon.”
Last weekend the manager only had 11 players but this weekend he will have a full squad which will mean a chance to look at all his team.
He said: “I have spoken to Ian about the players and as far as I know I am going to have a squad of 16 players which will be nice.
“It is what we need I think to be fair to the girls I moaned at them last week because of the second half performance but I couldn’t moan at them to much as we only had 11 players.
“With 16 players this weekend I expect the 16 fit players to come to Charlton on Sunday and they will all get a game no doubt about it.”
