Fundraiser: Ladies Night

Gillingham Ladies are proud to introduce their first major fundraiser in a unique event, a superb 2 1/2 hr Ladies night show, on Friday 12th November at The Royal Function Room in Rochester.
With promotion to The FA Premiership, the costs to run the team have escalated, with players having to pay there own monthly fee’s there is still an approx £10,000 defecit to cover.
Speaking to www.gillinghamladies.co.uk Director of Football Martin Andrews, explained “We needed to be more proactive, and be more imaginative and really hit the ground running with fundraisers, we also need to develop our community profile as well”.
With that in mind Martin is delighted that Emma Andrews has accepted another role within the club and has become the Events Manager.
Emma said:”I know what hard work Martin has put into the team, and it is important that the club continues to grow each season. The problem that Martin has experienced in the past is that he would organise a date for a fundraiser, then it would fall on one of the players birthday’s and they would then have other plans.
“We decided to be more ambitious and stand alone. We have found a lovely hall which are keen and friendly to help us, and its our plan now to utilise it and also have tribute nights, as well as our “Christmas Cracker Karoke” and our Player of the year functions there. Its in the heart of Rochester so very easy to get to aswell.
“The Ladies night is designed to make more women around the area realise that women do play football, and at a very high level, so although they will have a good girlie fun night they will also understand what Gillingham Ladies are all about, and hopefully a few of them will be intrigued to come along to one of our games”
Event Details:
Friday 12th November
Event Starts @ 7:30pm till Midnight
Tickets VIP £30 & normal £15
VIP Tickets are for reserved front row tables each table holds 5, you will get complementary wine & an Ann Summers Goodie Bag per ticket.
The main show consists of Lady James – Drag Queen and Phoenix & Billy Blue Eyes strippers and will run from 8:30pm till 11pm.
We will also have representatives from Ann Summers who will be showing the latest Christmas / 2010/2011 range, with an opportunity to purchase items on the night & book your very own Ann Summers party, should anyone wish to.
We also have other beauty organisations hoping to attend (TBC)
There will be raffles on the night too with items such as:-
Box of Chocolates (Hotel Chocolat)
Cinema tickets
DVD Box sets
(Secret Diary of a Call Girl)
(The Street)
Ann Summers Items
and many many more!
Tickets can be purchase by cheque or cash ONLY, either through the post or on Gills Ladies match days.
