Cineworld Cinemas Sponsor Gills Ladies

Gillingham Ladies can today exclusively reveal their new shirt sponsors for the rest of this season and the whole of the next campaign.

Cineworld Cinemas based in Medway Valley, Rochester have become Gillingham Ladies new home kit sponsors.

A fantastic deal has been discussed over the last few weeks between Gills Ladies Director of Football Martin Andrews and Cineworld Rochester’s Marketing Manager Thorston Simpole.

Cineworld have already supported the Ladies this season by advertising the Arsenal game in their Cinema and donated tickets for the Ladies to raffle off during home games.

Speaking about the partnership, a delighted Martin Andrews said: ” To get a major company backing us is fantastic, but to get a major local company that can spread our name to the tens and thousands of customers they have every month is even better. We will be working hard with them to promote the Club and raise the profile of women’s football within the local community.

Cineworld Rochester are delighted to be involved with Kent’s best ladies football team and are looking forward to developing their relationship with Gillingham Ladies.

Talking about the opportunity to sponsor the Ladies Cineworld Rochester’s Marketing Manager Thorston Simpole, said: ” The opportunity to sponsor Gillingham Ladies Football Club is something Cineworld is very proud of.

“We hope to help the club raise its profile in the Medway Towns and further a field with our association.  Our customers will benefit with offers that should attract more people to matches and to see for themselves the high level of skill and fitness involved in the women’s game. ”

To celebrate the agreement, all Cineworld Unlimited customers can watch Gillingham Ladies League matches at Lordswood F.C free of Charge.  The Ladies will soon be wearing the new Gillingham kit and sporting the Cineworld logo on their home shirts.
