The Weekend Preview: On the road again

Gills Ladies are on the road again this weekend as they travel to second bottom of the table Queens Park Rangers.

The Gills have found their form once again in the last two weeks as they have progressed to the last 16 of the League Cup and moved to fourth in the Southern Premiership.

Last weekend the Gills beat Brighton to earn their second League victory of the season, with a first goal for the Club from Lauren Phillips and a brace from Ashlee Hincks.

Queens Park Rangers are currently second from bottom of the League but they have only played three games to date.

They have yet to win a game in the Southern Premiership with defeats against Brighton, West Ham and Keynsham Ladies.

The Gills will not take the game lightly as they look to build momentum going into a run of key games as October draws to a conclusion.

Manager Ian Varley will take a fully fit squad to QPR on Sunday afternoon as the Ladies look to make it three wins from three.
