Girls Easter Football Course

Gillingham Ladies FC have launched an exciting football school aimed specifically at girls, this course is for the newbie that’s never kicked a ball through to the more advanced player. Girls can finally relax and enjoy football in the comfort of an all girls environment. We bring you a dream team of “female only” coaches just to make the girls more relaxed and the days more enjoyable. It sure to be a fun packed four days and to make it even more special an established England Ladies player will visit.
MONDAY 11TH APRIL – THURSDAY 14TH APRILGillingham Ladies Training Ground, Deangate Ridge, Duxcourt Rd, Hoo, Kent , ME3 8RZ
Start 10am Finish 3pm – Ages 5yrs to 16yrs
Cost £35 for All Sessions or £10 per day
The Gills have teamed up with Arsenal’s Gilly Flaherty to make sure that this is one of the finest courses available for girls, Gilly will be assisted by our very own midfield superstar Danni Farmer, and various other Gillingham Ladies players will be along during the week.
Not only that an established England Ladies International player who has over 80 caps and has played in the Pro league in USA will also come along for a question and answer session.
So a bit more about our two main coaches:-
Gilly Flaherty plays for Arsenal Ladies & has represented England at U17, 19 & 23 Level, she is about to compete in the launch of the new “The FA Womens Super League”. Gilly is also a coach at the Millwall Lionesses Centre of Excellence where she coaches the U10’s.
Danni Farmer has established herself as one of the most important players in the Gillingham Ladies team as she spear heads the midfield, an experienced player who joined the Gills at the start of last season from Charlton Athletic. Scoring over 20 goals as the Gills won the League and Kent Cup last season. She also coaches at Soccer Elite (Maidstone)
Both players have played at the top level of women’s football and have represented England at various levels and both have played and won the most prestigous cup in womens football The FA Cup.
Each player who enroles on the full four day course will receive:-

Any player who impresses will be put forward for trials for Gillingham Girls
