The Weekend Preview: Chelsea are in Town

The Reserves are looking to build on their current good form this weekend.

Chelsea Reserves are the visitors to the Village this Sunday in the Reserves biggest home game yet.

Team News

Whitney Judd has missed the last few weeks through injury, but the talented defender is due to return this weekend.

Manager Becky Lyon will have a full strength squad to pick from for her third home game in charge of the Reserves.

So far this Season

The Reserves under Becky Lyon are in good form taking four points from their last two matches.

They netted a point away at Watford, thanks to a stoppage time equaliser from Whitney Judd.

This was then followed up with a win over Brighton last time out at home. Amy Taylor scored a brace in the first half.

Temi was also on the score sheet, and Captain Kimi Bolden fired home from distance a goal of the season contender to seal the points in a 4-1 win.

Chelsea are currently second in the League behind Arsenal having won three, drawn one and lost two of their second games. Last time out they defeated QPR in the League Cup second round with goals from Chloe Dale, Katie Kingshott, Nicole Matthews and Drewe Spence.
