Super League side Chelsea come to Town

As part of their build up to their second season in the FA Womens Super League, Gills Ladies have agreed to play Chelsea in a friendly.

It is the second season that Chelsea have come to Kent as part of their pre-season programme.

As always it is sure to be an entertaining game as the Gills test themselves against some of the best players in the Country.

Speaking about Chelsea coming to Kent Chairman Martin Andrews, said : “It is a great opportunity for the people of Medway to see a Super League side. It is also a great chance for our players to play against one of the best teams in the Country.

“They came down to Chatham Town FC as part of their pre-season preparations alst season and I am delighted that they have agreed to do the same once again this season.”
