The Weekend Preview: Back to the league

The Gills return to League action this weekend following a brief break for the cup competitions.
Portsmouth are the visitors to Chatham Town for the ladies penultimate league game this season.
Both sides will be looking for three points to push as high up the league as they can.
Team News
Ian Varley was missing a few players for the cup win over Ebbsfleet United Ladies last weekend. However, they are all expected to return for the game this Sunday.

So far this season
The Gills are in good form and it is now one defeat in 13 games at the moment.
Last weekend they made it into the Kent Cup final for the second time in three years following a 1-0 win over Ebbsfleet United Ladies.
Portsmouth are currently third in the League and are just a point behind West Ham and five behind Colchester who sit top of the division. In their last home game before Christmas they despatched QPR Ladies 4-0, Charley Wilson scored a brace, and there were goals for Gemma-Louise Hillier and Jemma Tewkesbury.
We’ve Met Before
Sunday is the fourth meeting between the two sides in the last two seasons, with all four games coming in the Southern Premiership.
In the three games to be played so far, it is two draws and a defeat for the Ladies so the results have been good and the Gills will be going for the victory today.
